The first edition of Black Sea Renewable Energy Forum will take place on 8 – 10 November, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Bucharest, Romania. An “International Fair on Renewables Distributor’s Day”, will be organized in the same period.
The Forum will be organized by Gillier Humanity Foundation and Romanian Associations active in this field: SUNE – Romanian Association for Renewable Industry, ACPR – Romanian Alliance of Employers, FPEn – Romanian Federation for Energy, in cooperation with Prahova County Council and their Agency for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, with support of Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment.

The Forum on Renewable Energy in the Black Sea area is aiming at becoming, for three days, the voice for renewable energy in the region. The Forum will explore the strategy across the fields of all renewable energies: solar, wind, bio, hydro and ocean.

The completion of the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal in 1992 joined the Rhine-Main and the Danube to create a single waterway from the North Sea to the Black Sea. The waterway is navigable by large barges for its full length, and ocean going ships for part of its length.
